Beloved Horror Movie Series Comes to Peacock in Time for Halloween

An iconic horror movie franchise is headed to Peacock just in time for Halloween.

Peacock has announced that a large handful of the Leprechaun movies will be available to stream on the platform starting on October 1, 2025. Directed by Mark Jones, the original Leprechaun movie was released in 1993 and sees Warwick Davis play the titular evil creature.

What Leprechaun movies are coming to Peacock this October?

In addition to the first Leprechaun movie, Peacock is also adding 1994’s Leprechaun 2, 1995’s Leprechaun 3, 1997’s Leprechaun 4: In Space, 2000’s Leprechaun in the Hood, and 2003’s Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood to its streaming library on October 1, 2025.

Davis stars in all six of those movies. After Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood, there was a 2014 reboot directed by Zach Lipovsky, titled Leprechaun: Origins. That was then followed by 2018’s Leprechaun Returns, which is meant to be a direct follow-up to the original ignores the events of all the sequels; however, Davis opted not to return for that movie, and his role was instead played by Linden Porco.

Leprechaun: Origins is available to stream on Plex at this time, while Leprechaun Returns is available on Fubo and YouTube TV.

There were plans for another Leprechaun movie, directed by Felipe Varga, that were announced in June 2023, though it’s currently unclear if that project is still in active development at this time. The last update regarding the movie came this past March, when it was announced that Vargas was no longer going to be directing the movie. A new director has not yet been named.

Additionally, the first three movies in the Friday the 13th franchise are arriving on Peacock on the same day as the Leprechaun movies, while it was recently announced that a number of the A Nightmare on Elm Street films will soon be coming to HBO Max.
