Before Facing Off With Brad Pitt in ‘F1,’ Damson Idris Led One of FX’s Most Underrated Crime Dramas

Three months ago, one of the highest-grossing films of the year, F1, was released in theaters, directed by Joseph Kosinskiand led by the uncanny yet impressive duo of Brad Pittand Damson Idris. Pitt has been considered by many to be the film’s major ingredient, complementing the brilliant cast ensemble, which also includes Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem. Still, fans would agree that Idris also pulled his weight as a co-lead —quite impressively, one might add, which may not have been much of a surprise to those who recognized the British actor from FX’s critically acclaimed crime series, Snowfall.
