The Beatport Connect summit is returning to W Hollywood. Speakers include Wuki, MPH, salute, Kitty Amor, and various industry leaders.
Beatport has widely become known as a prime digital destination for producers and dance music professionals over the past 22 years. More recently, the download store has branched into additional avenues to help support artists and industry specialists who are navigating an ever-changing scene, including launching their Beatport Connect series.
Positioned as a one-day summit catered toward budding artists, DJs, labels, fans, promoters, and other industry professionals, the series will make its return to the W Hollywood hotel in Los Angeles on September 25. The event will feature a plethora of discussions, workshops, and networking, with a focus on the future of electronic dance music.
The lineup of featured speakers is buzzworthy in itself, with prominent artists like salute, MPH, Wuki, and Kitty Amor slated to share their insights. Industry leaders, such as Warner Records’ Adrienne Fitzpatrick, WME’s Bailey Greenwood, Billboard’s Katie Bain, and SoundCloud’s Maurice Slade, among many others, will also lend their voices to innovative conversations. Additional speakers will be announced in the lead up to the event.
For its second annual edition, Beatport Connect Los Angeles will expand to two rooms. One space will delve into the various trends that are molding today’s scene, while the other will offer sessions on artist development, branding, and long-term career growth. A sample of sessions includes event names like “Building an Artist Brand in 2026,” “Electronic Music… What’s Next?,” and “Breaking into Hollywood Through Sync.”
For attendees looking for extra opportunities to connect and mingle, the summit will feature a community breakfast in partnership with Her Dancefloor, an organization shining a spotlight on women in music, as well as an evening networking mixer.
As the home of electronic music, Beatport has always been about connecting the people who move the culture forward. Beatport Connect brings artists, promoters, labels, technologists, and fans together to share ideas, build new relationships, and shape what’s next for the industry. We’re excited to return to Los Angeles on an even bigger scale this year.
