Rida Amaan (Sarah Seggari) shares some heartbreaking news with Rash Masum (Neet Mohan) in Casualty this week, as the pressures of her job continue to impact her physically.
Rida was promoted to a Band 6 nurse last year, but has particularly struggled with the stress of her role in this boxset due to the CQC keeping a watchful eye over the hospital.
The much loved character recently learnt that if the ED fails another inspection, staff members will have to take voluntary redundancy. Not wanting her colleagues to lose their jobs, Rida put her name forward.
It’s in this week’s episode that Rida realises just how much her stress levels are impacting her body. When Rash finds her, he’s devastated to discover Rida’s situation.
Elsewhere in the ED, Cam Mickelthwaite (Barney Walsh) is brought in after being found bloodied and bruised, which only adds to Rida’s worries.
Also, Kim Chang (Jasmine Bayes) opens up about her eating disorder, but she starts to feel overwhelmed when her friend pushes her to get some help.
Here’s everything you need to know about tomorrow’s Casualty.
Cam’s life is on the line
Flynn Byron (Olly Rix) suggests to Siobhan McKenzie (Melanie Hill) that Cam may have revenge against Chris Banfield on his mind.
His theory is proved correct when he takes a call informing him that Cam is on his way into the ED after being found covered in blood.
Can the team save him?
Rida’s stresses reach new heights

When Rida learns about Cam, she has to move away in shock. Rash finds Rida adjusting her hijab and attempts to give her a moment, but she breaks down, revealing her constant stress is now causing her hair to fall out in clumps.
Teddy questions things
Troubled, Teddy Gowan (Milo Clarke) asks Jan Jennings (Di Botcher) what she sees when she looks at him. Jan isn’t quite sure what to say, but tells Teddy that she just sees him.
Teddy walks away with a sad look on his face, leaving Jan to wonder if she’s disappointed him.
Kim’s eating disorder consumes her
Matty Linklater (Aron Julius) tells Kim that he’s pieced it all together and thinks she has an eating disorder, and believes this is why she keeps making mistakes.
In the peace garden a while later, Kim tells her friend that she spent time at a retreat for people with eating disorders. Matty urges Kim to get help from Stevie Nash (Elinor Lawless), but she believes the matter is too private and shouldn’t be addressed at work.
Matty pushes Kim too far so she snaps, telling him that if he says anything, she’ll tell everyone that he phoned the CQC.
Back with a patient called Harry, Kim is relieved to see he’s going to be okay. Harry then asks Kim to destroy his weight loss injections.
In her bathroom, though, Kim holds the syringes and begins to inject herself, staring at the person she’s become in the mirror.
Iain’s hope quickly vanishes
After witnessing a father and daughter together, Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) ponders over his own dad duties that lie ahead.
He then visits Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell) in the ED with some sandwiches. They get chatting, but Iain’s warmth fades when Faith hands him a parental agreement, detailing the duties they will each have when the baby arrives.
The reminder that they will navigate their parental journeys separately leaves Iain gutted.
