After social media MVP Emily recently teased her second pregnancy with Heisman Trophy winner Baker, her latest update gave fans even more reason to admire the deep connection they share. It’s clear their bond is something truly special.

Taking to her official IG handle, Emily Wilkinson, who exchanged her wedding vows with NFL QB back on July 6, 2019, shared a captivating IG story. Along with sharing the vibrant picture of a former Browns player, she has a cheeky caption in a four-word message. “He’s gonna kill me,” Mayfield’s wife mentioned. She also added multiple teary-eyed emojis, showcasing her strong support.

The NFL QB looked really killer while giving a cool pose. He was relaxing on a couch while wearing a classy off-white shirt that he paired with black trousers. He also held a wine glass in his hand. His complete gesture is truly admirable as he has been embracing the offseason with fun and happiness. Hence, his wife could not keep quiet this time. Her latest adoration is the testament to this.

However, this was not the first time that her admiration for her NFL hubby caught attention. On many occasions, the soon-to-be parents of their second child express their love for each other. Back in July 2023, on the occasion of their 4th anniversary, Emily’s heartwarming message to her husband went viral.

At this moment, she shared the short clip, featuring their special moments together. And her sweet caption really won many hearts.  “Happy 4-year anniversary to my sweet husband. Not only Emily, but the Walter Camp Awardee, Mayfield, frequently emphasizes the significant contributions of his wife, referring to her as a “super mom.” A few months back in January, when he was heading into the Bucs’ Wild Card game against the Commanders, he applauded his wife during an interview with NBC.

“She’s a super mom. She’s made my life easy outside of work this whole year. So it’s been fun, but you know she knows what time of the year it is,” he added. With this stance, it is pretty much clear that they both are relishing their married life, being full of love and mutual support. They both are also the parents to a daughter, Kova Jade, whom they wholeheartedly welcomed in 2024.

Mayfields announce ‘Walk-On Scholarship’ for Student Athletes

On May 6th, former Browns’s first pick in the 2018 NFL draft, Baker Mayfield delighted his fan with the big announcement of scholarship program with his wife. Enthralled at this moment the dynamic duo launched the “Walk-On Scholarship” program. Amazingly, the couple seek to benefit the walk-on student athletes with this scholarship program presented by their Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation .

Interestingly, two $10,000 scholarships will be given out by the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation to enrolled sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students who participate actively in walk-on student athletics at their respective colleges.

At this moment, the NFL QB himself expressed his exhilaration as a walk-on student athlete. He mentioned, “My experience as a walk-on student athlete shaped who I am today.” Continuing further, he said, “Emily and I wanted to find a way to support future walk-ons to reach their goals and full potential. The hard work and dedication these athletes put in every day and the belief they have in themselves got them this far.” He wants the student athletes to reach their full potential and even greater heights, with a limited financial burden.

Even Baker Mayfield has built a significant reputation as a former walk-in student athlete. In fact, he is the first walk-on to win the Heisman Trophy (2017) who went No. 1 in the NFL Draft (2018). And, this inspired the given scholarship. Two $10,000 renewable awards are available to varsity college sophomores, juniors, or seniors who are U.S. citizens or legal residents, receive $5,000 or less in athletic aid, are confirmed by their coach, and meet their university’s academic standards. As per the reports, the applications are due by June 15.
