Bad news for Ajay Devgn as Raid 2 fails to…, check day 3 box office collection

Raid 2 has been the talk of the town. The movie has been the most anticipated one. After the success of the first film, everyone was eagerly waiting to know more about IRS officer Amay Patnaik. Ajay Devgn played the lead role and had Saurabh Shukla as the antagonist. Now, Amay is back to solve another tricky case. Raid 2 released on May 1 and has been receiving mixed response from the audience and critics.

Raid 3 box office collection day 3

The opening numbers of the film were amazing. It earned Rs 19.25 crore on the first day and became Ajay Devgn's second best opening since pandemic. Raid 2 had beaten his films like Drishyam 2 and Shaitaan. The actors biggest opening is Rohit Shetty's Singham Again with Rs 43.5 crore.

Raid 2 saw a drop on day 2 and collected just Rs 12 crore but the number grew during the weekend. As per early estimates, the film earned Rs 18 crore on Saturday. The success of the film is happening due to positive word of mouth. However, despite this, the film's total collection is now Rs 49.25 crore by the end of day 3.

The movie has failed to collect Rs 50 crore in three days. The film is facing a tough competition from Retro and HIT 3 at the box office. Hence, the numbers are a bit affected but it is still doing great. This is a big story in entertainment news.

Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and it also stars Vaani Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Saurabh Shukla and other. The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Jacqueline Fernandez in item songs. The film will reportedly release on Netflix after a month of its release. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Talking about the first film, Raid earned Rs 103 crore net in India and grossed Rs 154 crore gross worldwide. The movie was made on a budget of Rs 4o crore only.
