Avengers: Doomsday Releases Hilarious Thor & RDJ Video That Comes With Important Message

Marvel Studios has released a humorous video filled with MCU stars promoting Avengers: Doomsday. Released online this week, he video was previously shown in theaters before screenings of Avengers: Endgame Encore.

“Assemble respectfully,” reads Marvel’s post on social media accompanying the new video.

What do we see in the new Avengers: Doomsday video?

The video opens with footage previously seen in the Avengers: Doomsday trailers, with Thor attacking Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. As Doom pushes Thor away and summons the sentinels, the footage cuts to many MCU actors sitting inside a movie theater. At the center is Florence Pugh’s Yelena, who reacts as Simu Liu’s phone begins to ring. The cast featured in the video includes members from the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. The video ends with the message, “Please silence your phones.”

The PSA features Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Tenoch Huerta, Winston Duke, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Channing Tatum, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Danny Ramirez. It’s a star-studded lineup for what is essentially a public service announcement.

The video arrives after recordings of the new Avengers: Endgame Encore scenes circulated on social media. While Marvel Studios has previously encouraged and celebrated audience reactions in the theater, the PSA reminds audiences to be considerate of other viewers. Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most secretive projects yet, with the marketing still keeping many plot details under wraps.

Avengers: Endgame Encore has been a roaring success for Marvel, with the rerelease topping the box office with an estimated $86 million worldwide in its opening weekend. The milestone pushed Marvel Studios past $35 billion at the global box office its entire catalog.

Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on December 18, 2026.
