There is a lot that I love about Assassin's Creed Shadows, to the point that I've been one of its biggest defenders amidst a sea of criticism I, at first, believed was unwarranted. However, the more I play it, the more I realize that the glaring flaws that the series has suffered from since its reboot as an open-world RPG are still present in Shadows, even if a slew of amazing changes mask many of them. This newfound realization has made me wonder how the game could be improved upon, and, more importantly, what could inspire it.
