While Apple TV is widely known for its work in the sci-fi genre in recent years, the streamer has also found success with prestige dramas and comedies. Apple TV even brought back its most famous drama earlier this year with Ted Lasso, which earned enough views to break the record as the platform’s biggest returning series in history. Another prestige drama that’s become popular in recent years is Your Friends & Neighbors, starring Mad Men icon Jon Hamm, who also had a key role in the first season of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman. The show has aired two seasons to date, and Apple TV has also doubled down on the future of the series, confirming that Season 3 will be released in 2027. Your Friends & Neighbors was written by Jonathan Tropper, who also wrote Shawn Levy’s new Star Wars movie.
