As the digital age continues to evolve, there are more and more conversations being had regarding ownership of media. PlayStation, the video gaming giant, has been embroiled in hot water in recent weeks on the subject of physical media. Academy Award-winning filmmaker Christopher Nolan has previously advocated for ownership of physical media, as "no company is going to break into your house and take it from you and repossess it." Despite these advocacy movements for physical media, much of our entertainment in the present day is not physical, with streaming services such as Netflix and Prime Video offering subscription-based access.
