Every episode of Anupamaa is high on drama. After Vanraj and Anuj Kapadia saga, the Kotharis are creating chaos in Anupamaa's life. Anu's daughter Raahi is married to Prem Kothari. Thus, Anu now gets dragged into every drama that unfolds in Kothari mansion. In a recent episode, it was shown that Parag Kothari's daughter Prathna has come crying to Anupamaa as she has a tiff with her husband Gautam. Anu has now decided to help Prathna.
In today's episode of Anupamaa, audiences see Leela encouraging Prathna to go back home as her family would be worried. However, Prathna is adamant that she does not want to go back. Ansh is worried for Prathna that leaves everyone suspicious. Leela questions Ansh and asks her whether he is having an affair with her. However, Ansh clarifies that Prathna is just a good friend. Later, Anu (Rupali Ganguly) asks all the men of the house to move into another room. Prathna then opens up about her struggle. Anu, Kinjal and others then encourage her to reveal the truth to her family. They say that the Kotharis will stand by her no matter what.
On the other hand, in Kothari house, Gautam is trying to manipulate everyone against Prathna. He says that he wants to have a family, however, Prathna is not ready to have a child. Prem and Raahi inform all that Gautam beats up Prathna. But Gautam still manages to manipulate everyone stating that his wife has the same mental illness that her mother had. Parag shows trust on Gautam, however, warns him that if he is caught lying, he will be punished.
Anupamaa accompanies Prathna to Kothari house. She slams Gautam for lying and not treating his wife right. Parag asks his daughter to reveal the truth. She says that she does not want to have a child and breaks down. Parag hugs and tries to calm her down.
In the precap, it is shown that Gautam accuses Prathna of having an affair with Ansh. Once again, Anu will have to answer some tough questions.
