Anupamaa: Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia to return to Rupali Ganguly's show? Actor says 'Rajan sir ek...'

Anu and Anuj Kapadia are two of the most loved characters in the history of Indian Television. Rupali Ganguly essays the role of Anu in TV serial Anupamaa. Gaurav Khanna joined in as Anuj Kapadia and became an instant favourite of all. All the MaAn (Anu and Anuj) fans were extremely disappointed when Gaurav announced his exit from the show. Post the show took a leap, the character of Anuj Kapadia simply disappeared. However, even now, flashbacks of Anuj are shown to make audiences happy. Despite being a few months since his exit, Anuj Kapadia still trends on social media. So will Gaurav Khanna return to the show as Anuj?

In a chat with entertainment news portal Buzzzooka, Gaurav Khanna broke the silence on the same. He was asked whether there are any plans of his re-entry in Anupamaa. His answer may disappoint many. He said that as of now, there is no plan as such. "Abhi toh aisi koi baat hai nahi, nahi Rajan Sir ne aisa kuch bola. Rajan Sir alag direction mein show ko le jana chahte the." When further probed about Anuj still being discussed in the show, he said that Rajan Shahi has made the character, so he has the complete right to use his name and picture in the show as and when required.

From cooking 'unbearable food' to being one of the best contestants, he has come a long way in the show. Despite challenges of being a vegetarian and suffering from colour blindness, Gaurav has created many iconic dishes. As per reports, Gaurav has won Celebrity MasterChef. There is no confirmation though. Tejasswi Prakash is said to be the second runner-up while Nikki Tamboli is the first runner-up.
