Netflix is bringing another classic novel adaptation to the screen. Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence, which was previously filmed by Martin Scorsese in 1992, is being adapted into a miniseries at the streamer. The news comes on the heels, coincidentally, of Miramax announcing plans to produce a miniseries adaptation of Gangs of New York, another Scorsese film that, like The Age of Innocence, also starred Daniel Day-Lewis.
