As Academy Award-winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and the iconic Tom Cruise's brand-new Digger flopped last weekend, the top of the box office charts was perhaps unsurprisingly filled by the latest Colleen Hoover adaptation, Verity. After It Ends with Us, Regretting You, and Reminders of Him all proved financial successes, Verity looks set to become the second-biggest box office hit of all the Hoover adaptations after an opening weekend haul of roughly $60 million.
