Andor showrunner has credited Kathleen Kennedy with season 2's surprise recast. In Andor season 2, many Star Wars fans were surprised to see that Senator Bail Organa had been recast, now played by actor Benjamin Bratt. Now, showrunner Tony Gilroy has confirmed that this was the idea of Kennedy herself, adding to the list of things the Lucasfilm president did to help make one of Star Wars' best shows a success.
