To some, it might seem that two on-and-off rivals have finally found common ground. First, Claressa Shields suggested that Canelo Alvarez should share equal blame for an underwhelming fight. Now, albeit less directly, Amanda Serrano has seemingly joined in. She highlighted her own performance as details from the first two Cinco de Mayo shows emerged. From Ryan Garcia‘s shocking loss to Devin Haney and Jose Ramirez‘s lackluster showing, the Times Square ‘Fatal Fury: City of Wolves’ attracted its share of criticism. Still, none of those matched the backlash aimed at Canelo, who fought William Scull the next day in Riyadh.

So when a few fact-based comparisons from the events of May 2 and 3, where Canelo clearly ranked at the bottom, circulated online, Amanda Serrano couldn’t resist adding a pointed detail of her own.

Highlighting the differences in round length and total fight time, the Puerto Rican icon commented, “With 16 minutes Less! 10×2 vs. 12×3.
