He emphasizes that the crypto market moves in cycles, and Altseason is a recurring phase that savvy investors must approach with strategy.
Reflecting on his April warning, Wedson pointed out that those who accumulated strong projects—especially newly launched ones—have already seen gains exceeding 100%, with many outperforming Bitcoin.
According to him, by July, the altcoins most likely to experience significant growth will be those released in late 2024 and early 2025, mirroring patterns seen in the 2020–2021 bull cycle. In his view, Bitcoin should no longer be the focal point of investor portfolios.
While BTC might still double from current levels, Wedson stresses that true upside lies in strategically selected altcoins.
He believes Bitcoin dominance—currently elevated—will begin to decline sharply, potentially retesting around 67% before falling further. Even if Bitcoin faces short-term corrections, most altcoins appear to have bottomed already, suggesting they are unlikely to dip below recent price levels.
Wedson advises monitoring altcoins closely against BTC pairs. If an altcoin shows poor relative performance, he suggests reallocating Bitcoin into assets with stronger momentum to maximize upside as capital rotation favors altcoins.
