A-Level results day can bring a whole mix of emotions — but whether you’re celebrating or commiserating on August 13, plenty of restaurants are offering free food and discounts for students to enjoy.
From free gyoza and tacos to pizza, burgers and sweet treats, there are loads of ways to mark the occasion without spending a fortune.
Just remember to bring your results sheet and student ID where required and check that your local restaurant is participating.
Here’s Metro’s round-up of the best foodie offers you need to know about.
Itsu
Itsu is celebrating A-level results on Thursday, August 13.
Students simply need to show their results dated for 2026 to collect a free tray of steamed chicken or vegetable gyoza, served with dipping sauce.
Nando’s
Nando’s is bringing back its famous results day offer, meaning students can celebrate their grades with some free chicken. Students can grab a free quarter chicken or any starter when they spend £7 or more. The cheapest starter costs £3.95, while a quarter chicken costs £5.50.
To claim, you’ll need to show your student ID and results at the till. The offer is available for eat-in or walk-in collect only — no delivery. If you’re heading in with a group of friends, everyone claiming the offer will need to spend £7 or more on separate bills. The deal cannot be used alongside any other discount and excludes ‘Dare to Share’ menu options.
This deal is for Thursday, August 13 only, but GCSE students will be able to redeem on Thursday, August 20 for one day only too.
Slim Chickens
Chicken lovers are spoilt for choice. Students receiving their A-level results can claim three of Slim Chickens’ famous hand-breaded chicken tenders completely free, only on Thursday, August 13. The offer also includes a dipping sauce of your choice.
To get involved, students need to visit the site, grab a code and add it to the app before showing their results in participating restaurants. The offer is not available to be redeemed at kiosks, click & collect or delivery, and Heathrow, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Chichester, Walton-on-Thames or Haven locations will not be participating.
Zizzi
Pizza fans will need to be quick. Zizzi’s is offering a free Classic Pizza (usually from £14.75) with the purchase of a soft drink for the first 30 students who claim the offer per restaurant. After that, the offer switches to 50% off any Classic pizza and Non-Gluten Classic until 5pm when they purchase a soft drink.
Students must show their results (digital or paper) and dine-in to claim the offer. The deal is limited to six people per table and cannot be used with any other discounts or promotions.
GCSE students will also be able to take advantage on August 20.
Pizza Express
Pizza Express is offering students 90 minutes of bottomless pizza and dough balls for dine-in only for £12.50. To claim, students must show their results slip (either digital or printed) on either August 13 (A-levels) or August 20 (GCSEs) only and place their first pizza order before 5pm on results day.
Not all diners have to be students, however, as Pizza Express notes on their website that at least one student must present a valid Results Day letter for all diners at the same table to qualify for the £12.50 offer. But everyone on the same table must take part in the bottomless pizza deal.
The offer includes Classic pizzas such as:

Bella Italia
Students on both A-Level and GCSE results day can claim a free starter and dessert when ordering any main meal at Bella Italia.
You’ll need to sign up for a voucher online and show your results slip when visiting. The best part? The offer applies to everyone at the table, so you can bring your family and friends.
This offer is not available at any Center Parcs locations, London Paddington, or Edinburgh Northbridge.
Prezzo Italian
Both A-Level and GCSE students can claim a free drink when dining in and ordering an adult main meal at Prezzo, any additional toppings or upgrades will be charged separately.
The offer is valid for up to 12 people per bill and applies to mains ordered from the A la Carte, Specials and Celebration Menus.
To redeem, students need to show proof of their results. Proof of age is also required if claiming a free alcoholic drink, which includes all regular soft drinks, 175ml house wine, a pint or 330ml bottle of Poretti, and cocktails. If multiple drinks are included on the bill, the cheapest one will be free.
The deal runs all day, every day until Friday 4 December, so there’s no need to rush out on results day. But the offer is not available at Prezzo Italian Euston, Glasshouse Street, St Martin’s Lane, Victoria, Kensington and Northumberland Avenue.
Las Iguanas
Students can grab a free starter and dessert when ordering any main meal at Las Iguanas.
Simply claim a voucher online and show your results slip. The offer is available for tables of up to six guests.
Banana Tree
A-Level and GCSE students can claim a free starter and dessert with any main meal at Banana Tree, only avaliable on their respective results day.
To redeem the offer, students need to claim a voucher online and show their results slip. The deal is available to everyone at the table to enjoy.
Bill’s
Available Thursday, August 13 and Thursday, August 20 only, students can finish their results day meal with a free dessert at Bill’s when dining in, and is available for any party size and for multiple celebrants on one table.
Simply purchase any main meal and show your results slip to your server from 11:30am. The offer is available in England and Wales only, and not at Bill’s Heathrow T2.
Wildwood
Students ordering a full-price Alla carta or special menu main meal (no minimum spend) at Wildwood can claim a free starter or dessert, plus a free Coke Zero, on both A-Level and GCSE results day only.
To claim, students need to show their results slip and student ID.
Frankie & Benny’s
Students can get a free starter and dessert with a main meal at Frankie & Benny’s. To claim, A-Level and GCSE students need to sign up for a voucher online and show their results slip. The offer is available to everyone at the table on August 13 and 20 only.
This offer excludes Frankie’s Faves Combo, Garlic Pizza Bread Sharer, Frankie’s Classic Meatballs, Medium or Large Wings & Dips, Cookie Jar Sundae and Freakshake Sundae.
Airport locations will not be running this promotion either.
Rosa’s Thai
Students can claim a free Pad Thai when they purchase a bubble tea at Rosa’s Thai.
To redeem the offer, students need to pre-register on Rosa’s Thai’s website for a unique code, then show the code alongside their results on either August 13 or 20.
The offer is available at all restaurants except Edinburgh and Glasgow. It cannot be used alongside any other offer, set menu, lunch menu, voucher or discount, and is not valid on delivery, takeaway or click & collect.
TGI Fridays
Students can claim a free dirty soda in store by showing their results slip. Only for August 13 and 20, claimants must be 16 or over and may be asked to provide proof of age, and it is only for those who have received results.
Two Twin Tacos
Students picking up their A-level or GCSE results this summer can celebrate with a free taco from Two Twins Tacos.
The Brixton Village, Notting Hill and Kilburn spots are giving students a free OG soft shell taco, with the filling of their choice.
Just show your A-level or GCSE results certificate in-store and claim your taco.
Byron Burgers
Burger lovers can get a buy-one-get-one-free deal at Byron Burgers when they show their results slip.
The offer applies to:
Double Smash Chicken Ranch Signature Smokey V-RexEach burger is £14.50, and the offer is valid for dine-in only.
Ask Italian
Students can claim a free main meal on August 13 and 20 or a glass of fizz (or a non-alcoholic alternative) when dining with a parent at Ask Italian.
There is a twist though — the parent will need to answer a GCSE-style question on the spot to score the free meal. Students must show their results slip, too.
If you parent gets the wrong answer, the fizz is still complimentary, but the food will be charged (good luck!).
The Real Greek
The Real Greek is giving you the chance to grab a free souvlaki wrap, available before 5pm on any weekday from August 13 to 27 for both A-Level and GCSE students.
One per student for dine-in only and they must sign up online for a voucher code.
Pizza Pilgrims
Pizza Pilgrims is also getting involved with 50% off pizzas between August 13-19 for A-Level students and August 20-27 for GCSE students.
This offer is only valid for pizzas, not starters or sides or desserts, and is valid for tables of up to four people dining together – but just one person needs to present their results for everyone to get the half price deal.
Giggling Squid
Students collecting their A-level or GCSE results can claim a free portion of sticky chicken at Giggling Squid, which is normally £16.95.
The offer is limited to one free portion per student and can only be claimed once during results day with digital or printed proof of results.
The offer cannot be used alongside any other offer, discount, voucher, set menu or loyalty reward. A main dish must be purchased to redeem the offer, and it is for dine-in customers only.
