Neighbours is lining a horrific week for Jane Harris (Anne Jones), as her mum Amanda (Briony Behets) tragically passes away.

Much mystery surrounds the incident, as she’s found at the bottom of an embankment following a trip to the Dandenong Ranges with dastardly Dr Darcy Tyler (Mark Raffety).

Karl Kennedy’s (Alan Fletcher) suspicions deepen, and he begins a mission to source the truth…

Elsewhere, Paul Robinson’s (Stefan Dennis) life implodes when partner Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) discovers that he isn’t son Thomas’ biological father.

Having kept the revelation a secret for over a week, how long will he be able to keep her from learning the full truth?

Plus, a hostage situation emerges when Andrew Rodwell (Lloyd Will) comes face-to-face with his catfisher. After demanding answers, he’s tied up in the imposter’s garage.

Luckily, one brave resident comes to his rescue.

Keep an eye out for the final appearance of a Neighbours icon, too.

Their first phone call is positive, though it’s suggested that she makes some revisions. This will take months of work, but she’s pleased to hear that it means she’ll have to head up North to discuss it in person.

As an added incentive, she’ll also get to see her kindred spirit Harold!

Tuesday, May 27

Amanda makes an angry outburst and Jane decides to cancel their trip to the Dandenong Ranges. However, when the family discuss her mood swings, they realise that she can go two ways and there could still be time to turn the day around.

Jane tries to put on a brave face, not knowing that Darcy has taken her mother to the mountains – setting up an alibi with Tess Bell (Krista Vendy).

Atop the hills, Amanda confuses Darcy for Jane, and tells ‘her’ that she’s sorry for the poor upbringing she gave her and the way they fell out upon her return to Erinsborough.

When she realises she’s made a mistake, she admits to Darcy that she’s scared of what’s happening to her. He’s torn between sympathy and needing to cover his tracks.

Later, Darcy meets with Tess, solidifying his alibi and worming his way back into her life.

However, Amanda is nowhere to be seen. Jane asks Susan (Jackie Woodburne) to help her, and the two learn that she was last seen getting into an Uber.

An extensive search party begins, with the police involved. Unfortunately, Andrew has to break the news that she is dead, having been found at the bottom of the embankment.

Elsewhere, Max (Ben Jackson) tells his Aunty Agnes that she should consider moving to Port Douglas for a few months, so that she can work side by side with the publisher.

She’s tempted, but is worried about how Harold might feel if she just lands on him.

Susan helps her work through her doubts, persuading her that he wouldn’t have retained such a good long-distance friendship if he didn’t value her.

Boosted by her words, Agnes packs her bags and decides to surprise Harold… and gets the warmest of welcomes.

After realising what a positive influence the Ramsay family tree has had on Agnes’ life, Max hands a copy to Wendy (Candice Leask), with Andrew starting to wonder about his own history.

When she suggests making a Rodwell version, he’s dismayed after considering that a whole side of his family would be missing – from his biological parents.

Wendy is uncomfortable about their chat, and convinces him to take a colleague. Holly hears about what’s happening – and thinks that it’s best if she speaks with Sandra instead.

During their conversation, Sandra admits that she’s embarrassed that someone else was impersonating Andrew and that she wasn’t really talking to him.

She offers another sleepover at the penthouse, though lies by saying she doesn’t have enough milk and inserts herself into Paul and Terese’s family time.

Fed up of the war between them both, Terese decides to challenge Chelsea to accept that there is no place for her in Paul’s heart, and that she should focus on their son’s wellbeing rather than playing games she can’t win.

Later, Cara (Sara West) convinces her sister not to leave town, while Paul rearranges Thomas’ baby class so that Terese can attend. However, their bubble soon bursts when Jeffrey sends a letter revealing that the DNA report was faked.

Terese is floored by the news, with Paul knowing that his huge secret is about to implode.

Elsewhere, Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) sets up a fake dating profile on a mission to expose Andrew’s catfisher, unaware that he’s already nailed the culprit.

Phil, a guy from his self-defence class, explains that Sandra rejected him and he faked Andrew’s identity to grow closer to her. He also falls for Holly’s trap, and discloses his address.

She bursts into his backyard but is caught in the act, and as she makes a run for it, hears a noise coming from the garage. Poor Andrew is tied up and gagged!

Phil threatens them both, but Holly puts her self-defence training into action and overpowers him, rescuing them both.

Now that his nightmare is over, Andrew is keen to move on. Wendy’s guilt boils over when she admits that she lashed out at Sandra for thinking that Andrew had met her alone.
