
Emmerdale is set to be rocked by a dramatic act of revenge next week, with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) targeted by some of his many enemies.
With Caleb and Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly and William Ash) convinced they have sealed his fate, they are prepared to see his spectacular undoing.
Meanwhile, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) makes a discovery that changes absolutely everything.
But as hatred builds, what fate lies in store for Joe?
Monday May 5
When Dawn suggests that Billy moves back out, his hopes of revitalising their relationship are shattered. Later, thinking they are alone Dawn and Joe share a kiss, but unbeknown to them, Clemmie has seen the whole thing.

When Clemmie then refuses to go back to school, feigning illness, Dawn’s oblivious to what the real problem is. When Joe tries to check in on Clemmie, he’s thrown when she reveals that she saw him kissing Dawn.
Joe tries desperately to placate Clemmie, but she wants nothing to do with him and when he tries to stop her leaving she angrily bites his arm.
Ross is devastated when Steph calls off their relationship in order to spare his feelings and focus on her own recovery.
Tuesday May 6
Joe tries to bribe Clemmie with a present for her silence, but finding her dismantling it later, Joe is angry, threatening Clemmie she’ll be sent into care if Dawn finds out about the bite.
As Clemmie fights tears, Joe stands firm, forcing her to agree to stay quiet. When Billy finds Clemmie, upset, she eventually admits to biting Joe and tells Billy about Joe’s threats to send her into care.


He’s left furious when Clemmie reveals she saw Joe and Dawn kiss. When Billy tells all about Joe to Caleb, he’s quick to encourage Billy to get revenge, hoping this will sort out his own Joe shaped problem in the process.
Ryan is taken aback when Gail tells him she doesn’t think they’re in love anymore.
Wednesday May 7
Ruby accidentally lets on that she knows something about Noah’s spiking. After some persuading, Ruby comes clean and reveals that it was Joe who spiked Noah on the night of the limo crash.
As Ruby explains everything, Charity manages to put two and two together and realises it was Joe who has taken Caleb’s kidney. Reeling from the revelation, Charity’s anger towards Joe simmers.

When she vows to make sure Joe gets what he deserves, Ruby wonders whether she’s just signed Joe’s death warrant.
Later on, all eyes are on Joe in the Woolpack. With both Charity and Billy out for revenge, Ruby and Caleb are pleased to have engineered Joe’s downfall.
Desperate, Ryan begs Gail not to leave him, and she is left torn.
On his way out of Manpreet’s after spending the night together, Ross is quick to shrug her off when Caleb walks by.
Thursday May 8
Charity is clearly up to something and Noah’s blindsided after she outlines her revenge plot and the dark motivation for it.

Noah struggles to process the implications of Joe being the person who drugged him and left the deaths of three people on his conscience but will he consent to Charity’s revenge mission?
An exciting glamorous surprise birthday party for Lydia is staged up at Home Farm, but is it the right time for the village to be celebrating?
Especially given there is so much bad feeling towards Joe Tate circulating, something is afoot….
