Emotions run high in EastEnders next week as both the Slater and Beale families receive more bad news.
Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is concerned about baby Jimmy, who is struggling to latch on while breast feeding.
Dismissing her worries, fiancé Peter Beale (Thomas Law) thinks that she may have relapsed – and his fears only intensify when the health visitor suggests that she may be suffering from post-natal depression.
A run-in with mother-in-law from hell Cindy (Michelle Collins) doesn’t help, and Lauren later books the infant in for an emergency appointment.
At the hospital, she’s told that Jimmy is visually impaired.
Elsewhere in Albert Square, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has noticed that teenage Lily (Lillia Turner) has been left to run the household, with her mum Stacey (Lacey Turner) continuing to lock herself away.
