Netflix has developed a reputation for canceling shows prematurely, and 2024 only bolstered this idea. Netflix canceled the most shows of any major network or streaming platform last year, including some surprise cancelations that left fans disappointed. Netflix seems to know fairly quickly whether a show will be a hit or not, so it cancels shows after only a few weeks if they don't achieve their targets. Some Netflix shows wrapped things up on their own terms in 2024, like Arcane, but this is a rare luxury.
