No, both Shuntaro Chishiya and Hikari Kuina are not in Alice in Borderland Season 3. This is mainly because of their scheduling conflicts.

Created by Haro Aso, Alice in Borderland is a sci-fi psychological drama based on his own manga series of the same name. While the first two seasons of the show covered all the chapters from the manga, the third season furthered the plot beyond the manga for the lead characters.

The show featured some great characters, including Shuntaro Chishiya and Hikari Kuina, who quickly became fan-favorites. Naturally, fans expected them to see in the upcoming season. However, that did not happen.

Nijirô Murakami, the actor who played Chishiya, took a break from acting to tend to his mental health. Although he’s back to acting right now, he was unavailable to shoot the third season during its production. On the other hand, Aya Asahina, who played Hikari Kuina, was also unavailable due to her pregnancy.

At the end of Alice in Borderland Season 2, Chishiya and Kuina both survived the games and returned to the real world along with Arisu and Usagi. Chishyia, who was manipulative in the beginning, goes through a redemption arc and chooses to live a better life after waking up in the hospital in the real world. Kuina, although severely wounded, recovers in the hospital and returns to live with her family.

While the two characters are not appearing in Season 3, they both received a proper ending in the previous season.
