Ajith Kumar discharged from hospital after being injured during fans frenzy at airport

Ajith Kumar, the Tollywood superstar and Padma Bhushan awardee, has been released from the hospital after sustaining leg injuries due to an overly-enthusiastic crowd. The actor was returning from Delhi after receiving the prestigious Padma Bhushan award from President of India

Known for his pan India super hit films like Vidaamuyarchi, Tegimpu, Ajith Kumar was returning from his Delhi trip after which he was mobbed by his fans at the Chennai Airport.

After the incident, Ajith Kumar was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital in Chennai, where he underwent a thorough examination by physiotherapists. On Wednesday evening, the doctors allowed him to return home, advising him to take proper precautions and rest for several weeks to allow the leg injury to heal.

Ajith Kumar has been recently working on many projects, one of which is his much awaited film Good Bad Ugly packed with stars like Rahul Dev, Trisha Krishnan and Priya Prakash Varrier. Despite the setback, Ajith Kumar's fans are relieved to know that he is safe and recovering well.
