Shaitaan Trailer: Ajay Devgn fights R Madhavan in horror thriller
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Ajay Devgn took to social media to share the much-awaited trailer for Shaitaan. He captioned the post with, “Hell comes home with #Shaitaan. #ShaitaanTrailer out now. Taking over cinemas on 8th March 2024.”
The two-minute-long trailer delivers a thrilling ride full of twists and turns. It revolves around the narrative of Ajay Devgn and Jyothika letting a mysterious stranger into their house, which slowly turns into a nightmare for them and their children.
Shaitaan’s trailer opens with R Madhavan’s character, Angad, stepping into a peaceful home where Ajay Devgn and Jyothika live with their daughter. Although he promises to leave after 15 minutes, R Madhavan’s character refuses to do so. When Ajay Devgn’s character, Kabir, forces him out of the house, his daughter stops him and declares that Angad will stay back. Apparently, Angad has hypnotized her to such an extent that she ends up slapping herself and even hitting her father. The question remains – will Kabir be able to save his daughter?
Furthermore, this horror thriller is a Hindi remake of the acclaimed Gujarati movie Vash. Interestingly, Janki Bodiwala is reprising her role from the original film. Moreover, the movie was officially announced in May 2023, and in January 2024, the makers confirmed its title. The crew shot Shaitaan in London, Mumbai, and Mussoorie between June 2023 and September 2023.
Watch Shaitaan in theaters on March 8, 2024.
