Their spat began on Jackson’s own JAXXON Podcast, after what seemed to be a simmering conflict boiled over live on air. Holland, however, didn’t let it escalate. In a recent tweet, he posted a clip of Jackson discussing the incident, writing, “I can come back, the cost is the same.”

In the clip, Jackson was seen sharing his side: “He took some sh– the wrong way, and I think honestly with all due respect, he took the bi— way out. Cause he… I can’t stand when dudes be acting like bi—– I just can’t”. “He took something the wrong way, and I messaged him like bro you took it wrong and you know I’m trying to explain it to him and he left me on read on Instagram. Like bi—,” he further elaborated on what sparked the rage.

However, despite the tension, Jackson chose to stay calm on the podcast, which was especially surprising given his history. Holland had allegedly taken issue with a comment Jackson made on Instagram, and that cold energy bled into the podcast episode. Still, the veteran didn’t escalate. Holland later showed interest in squashing the beef, even hinting at settling things in the cage. The tweet felt like an open door, not a challenge.

Rampage Jackson’s rocky history with Dana White

This isn’t Jackson’s first time clashing off the mat. In fact, one of his most famous fallouts was with UFC president Dana White. Even after retirement, Rampage remains one of MMA’s most recognizable names—but not without scars from his past run-ins.

The root of the rift with White? Jackson said it stemmed from taking things personally. On his JAXXON podcast with guests TJ Dillashaw and Arman Tsarukyan, he admitted: “That’s why I ruined my relationship with Dana… when they f—– with me and stuff like that, I took it personally. The UFC is like their baby… You’ve got to look at it just as business.”

He recalled how the tension escalated after his loss to Ryan Bader. Despite suffering a meniscus injury before the fight, Jackson chose to compete because he wanted to fight in Japan. But Dana’s post-fight comments caught him off guard. “So when I went there and I fought, and I lost by decision, the first thing Dana did in the press conference is, like, ‘I don’t know what’s going on with Rampage. I don’t think he has it. I don’t think he wants it anymore.’” That, according to Rampage, was the tipping point.

The Holland incident might seem small in comparison to past blowups, but it’s another entry in the long history of Jackson’s turbulent career. This time, though, both sides seem open to resolution. Holland’s response was light, maybe even playful. But the message was clear: the door isn’t closed.
