The Pahalgam Terror Attack has left many shocked. A lot of innocent tourists lost their lives in the terror attack that took place on April 22, 2025. Celebrities from different fields condemned the act. From Bollywood, stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood, Sidharth Malhotra, and many more reacted to the incident and condemned the act. Now, many artistes from the music industry have taken steps to stand in solidarity with the victims. Shreya Ghoshal recently cancelled her concert in Surat.
Shreya Ghoshal's concert was to take place on April 26, in Surat in Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium. However, the show now stands cancelled. The Zaalima singer took to her Instagram account to make the announcement. She wrote that due to the recent tragic events, the organisers and artistes have collectively decided to cancel the the show. Her note read, "In light of the recent and tragic events, the organisers along with the artist have collectively made the decision to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Surat this Saturday, April 26th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment. For any queries, write to [email protected]. Thank you for your understanding." It has made it to entertainment news.
Earlier, it was Arijit Singh who called off his show in Chennai. The show was to take place on April 27 at YMCA ground. However, he announced that the show has been cancelled in light of the recent Pahalgam Terror Attack.
Apart from the musicians, even Bollywood celebs have showed support to those who lost their loved ones. Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is currently promoting Costao wore a black band on his arm in order to stand in solidarity with the families of the victims. In an interview with India Today, he also reacted to the attack and said that there is a lot of anger in everyone as the incident is fresh in minds of all.
