The origins of Superman have famously seen their fair share of tweaks over the years. Most readers and casual observers nowadays will reasonably assume Clark Kent was given his name after crash-landing on the Kent Farm as a baby, with even intermediate readers and above quickly able to recognize that stories from even the Golden Age and beyond expanded his mythology significantly to reach that point. What was once an already-astonishing feat and signifier of future greatness, like a baby Clark Kent lifting a chair (or later, a cabinet) over his head at his orphanage, would eventually pale in comparison to the godlike capabilities from the Silver Age and beyond. Now, even these small traces are being changed.
