Strong Digital Media Growth with AI as Key Driver

Adobe’s Digital Media revenue climbed to $4.35 billion, representing a 12% annual increase. Its annualized recurring revenue (ARR) for this segment hit $18.09 billion, up 12.1%. AI-driven products, including the Firefly application and Acrobat AI Assistant, are credited with attracting a growing base of new users.

The Firefly app in particular saw first-time subscribers surge by 30% quarter-over-quarter. AI-related ARR is now pacing ahead of Adobe’s $250 million target for the fiscal year, indicating strong adoption of its generative AI offerings across Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud products.

Digital Experience Segment Shows Steady Gains

Revenue in Adobe’s Digital Experience segment reached $1.46 billion, up 10% from the prior year. Subscription revenue contributed $1.33 billion, an 11% rise. These results reflect solid demand from enterprise clients seeking data-driven marketing and customer experience solutions.

Adobe’s ongoing push in markets like India is also bearing fruit. The company reported a threefold increase in Adobe Express usage in the country, supported by local language features and mobile-first accessibility.

Future Guidance and AI Focus Remain Central

Adobe raised its FY25 revenue guidance to between $23.50 billion and $23.60 billion. GAAP EPS guidance was lifted to $16.30–$16.50, while non-GAAP EPS was guided to $20.50–$20.70.

CEO Shantanu Narayen emphasized that AI innovation remains key to the company’s strategy, promising further investments to improve product offerings and expand the user base. The CFO echoed this, stressing the importance of AI in shaping Adobe’s next growth phase.
