After five years away, one of the best British crime series of this century, Line of Duty, is finally returning. Last month, it was confirmed that production had completed on the long-awaited seventh season, with creator Jed Mercurio (Bodyguard) calling it a "monumental shoot" on social media. The main AC-12 trio (Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar, and Vicky McClure) is back on the beat for the next season, although they face a new challenge in Season 7 after being "disbanded and rebranded the Inspectorate of Police Standards."
