It's that time of year when networks are scrambling to lock in their 2025-26 slates, including ABC, which is home to some of reality television's biggest hits. The network has already announced that one of their most popular shows, Dancing With the Stars will return, along with new seasons of American Idol and Celebrity Jeopardy. However, there's one franchise that is obviously missing. Both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette were absent from the list, which means the very future of the franchise hangs in the balance. Although the franchise has gone through its fair share of trials and tribulations, it's been a pop culture staple of the 21st century and can't be canceled.
