AB DAO Collaborates With AB Charity Foundation to Enhance Global Philanthropic Space

AB DAO, an innovative blockchain platform focused on advancing global philanthropy, has co-hosted the inaugural “Tech-Driven Philanthropy Closed-Door Forum” in collaboration with the AB Charity Foundation.

The Dublin, Ireland event focused on exploring how emerging technologies like blockchain and AI can empower global well-being and enhance transparency in philanthropy.

While this marks a major milestone for the companies, it aligns with their shared mission to reshape the global philanthropic landscape through technology and trust. As such, they want to provide the global space with a trustworthy infrastructure targeted towards charity.

According to the announcement, Mr. Bertie Ahern, Chairman of the AB Charity Foundation, former Prime Minister of Ireland, and former President of the European Council, chaired the forum.

Mr. Ahern delivered a speech titled “Technology and Trust – A New Order for Philanthropy”, emphasizing the importance of building trustworthy systems for the public good in the digital age.

Other guests present at the forum included H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria and former Chairperson of the African Union, and Mr. Malcolm Byrne, Irish Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Committee on Artificial Intelligence.

Also, Mr. Anthony Tsang, a representative at AB public blockchain, was seen presenting the latest technological breakthroughs, including the high-performance mainnet, the AB Connect cross-chain protocol, and the Universal Transfer Protocol, which enables gas-free transactions.

Mr Tsang’s presentation further outlined AB DAO’s long-term vision to build a globally compliant infrastructure for philanthropy powered by decentralized technology.

While the AB team is keen on driving “technology for good” in real-world initiatives, it has revealed that the AB Charity Foundation will consolidate major proposals from the forum and submit them to the United Nations and global partner networks.
