By a considerable distance, the video game adaptation tops the list of highest-grossing movies of the year and has become somewhat of a cultural touchstone across much of the world, for better or for worse. After recently surpassing Captain America: Civil War at the box office and entering the 75 highest-grossing movies in global history, A Minecraft Movie has hit yet another major milestone, this time from overseas revenue.
