ForBillie Lourd, Star Wars is part of her DNA. The daughter of the late Carrie Fisher grew up under the scrawling letters from a galaxy far, far away and, in time, would become part of the endless universe itself as part of her breakthrough into feature-length productions. After making her grand debut in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Resistance fighter Kaydel Ko Connix, Lourd’s character returned for another go around in the film’s 2017 sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and once again to round things out with 2019’s trilogy capper, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. While Kaydel Ko Connix isn’t expected to make an appearance in any of the many Star Wars projects that are on the docket, Lourd is not just willing, but incredibly hopeful that she’ll have the chance to reprise her role and maybe even bring some friends along for the ride.
