A 6.1 Genshin Impact Character Will Be Nefer

The official social media account for Genshin Impact revealed Nefer will be one of the next new Nod-Krai characters to appear after the Luna I update, and we can expect to see her in 6.1. We don’t know if she will be a four-star or five-star yet. 

Nefer is one of the Genshin Impact Nod-Krai characters first teased back in July 2025. Her art appeared alongside people like Alice and Varka. The latest reveals confirm she is a Dendro Moon Wheel character. She’s the “Secret Beneath the Sands” and owns a shop known as the Curatorium of Secrets that functions in a somewhat similar way to the Adventurers' Guild. One description detailing her suggests she also uses a cat named Ashru to carry messages for her. Her Constellation is called Ludus Latrunculorum.

Three Nod-Krai characters appeared in this initial 6.0 Luna I update. The first was the five-star Dendro character Lauma, and the four-star Aino and five-star Flins showed up too. 

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and Nefer will be one of the next new characters. The PS4 version is no longer available to download in the PlayStation Store, but will be available to play until 2026.
