Long before internet viral videos changed how we consume horror, one specific title terrified audiences through rumors and unauthorized VHS tapes. Released in 1978, the original production was presented as an actual documentary, with a lead character showing the viewer footage of different gruesome ways of dying from a variety of sources. Due to its graphic content, though most of the segments were later revealed to be staged, it was banned and censored in many countries, often labelled "Banned in 46 Countries."
