9-1-1 showrunner Tim Minear woke up and chose violence. When he and the rest of the team were crafting the madness that would befall our TV screens with the show’s eighth season, not only did they dream up the harrowing and now legendary “Bee-nado,” but they also put the stakes sky-high and killed off a primary character. That death came last week when Peter Krause’s Bobby Nash gave his life so that the rest of the 118 could live theirs.
