After recently premiering his latest project, The Madison, Taylor Sheridan has crawled back to his Texas hideout to continue expanding his empire at Paramount before he leaves for NBCUniversal. While it’s easy to say Yellowstone is the project that helped turn him into one of Hollywood’s most popular (and controversial) screenwriters, he’s actually been around penning projects that far predate Kevin Costner’s legendary Western saga. One of Sheridan’s most famous movies is Wind River, the neo-Western starring Jeremy Renner, whom he later would work with on all five seasons of Mayor of Kingstown. Sheridan also penned the script for other famous neo-Westerns, such as Hell or High Water, which stars Jeff Bridges and Chris Pine. He even wrote the script for the failed Tom Clancy movie starring Michael B. Jordan, Without Remorse, which is currently streaming on Prime Video and for free on Tubi.
