Watching Toy Storyas an adult is a strange experience because some of the scenes that barely registered as a kid can now feel almost impossible to sit through. A child sees Jessie sitting in a box and understands that she is sad. An adult sees someone realizing that a person she loved has moved on with her life, and suddenly the scene is about something much bigger than a toy.
