X-Force made their Marvel Comics debut back in 1991. The team consisted of Cable (Nathan Summers, the leader), Domino (who was actually Copycat at the time), Cannonball, Shatterstar, Boom Boom, Warpath, and Feral. With the exception of Cable and Domino, they were all teenagers who were thrown into an impossible situation of being in a more military branch of the X-Men. A case can be made that all the X-Men are military, but X-Force has always been different.
