Television is an excellent medium for adapting fantasy, because it allows the plot time to develop, and has the room to introduce the characters and build this world. Many classic fantasy series have made for fantastic television adaptations, like Game of Thrones, Interview with the Vampire, and Shadow and Bone. Even great fantasy movies can be improved as TV shows, like What We Do in the Shadowsand Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
