HBO’s Game of Thrones was and will always be considered a fantasy TV triumph. However, even the most devout fans would find it difficult to argue that it was consistent. It’s almost universally accepted that Game of Thrones finished on a much weaker note than it started, and this is apparent nowhere else as clearly as in the downward trajectory of some of its once-strongest characters.
