Green Lantern stories are strongest when villains challenge more than a hero’s strength. The Manhunters and Sinestro do that in opposite ways, as one is the legacy of a rational system gone wrong, while the other is a former champion who chose fear over willpower. Both expose flaws in the Green Lantern Corps.
