Last weekend, Ridley Scott made his return to the sci-fi genre with The Dog Stars, hoping to compete with the all-conquering Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Alas, it wasn't to be for the Hollywood veteran, as this newest sci-fi epic crashed and burned before it had truly taken off. The film earned just $8 million domestically in its first weekend, finishing fifth in the box office charts behind the likes of Insidious: Out of the Further, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, and the aforementioned Brand New Day. With the newest box office epic unable to make an impact, perhaps you're better off staying in and getting your movie fix from the comfort of your own couch. With that in mind, here's a list of three movies you should stream on Netflix this September.
