Christopher Nolan's latest masterpiece, The Odyssey, based on Homer'sancient Greek epic, built on its record-breaking opening weekend with an enormous second weekend haul, which has now helped the film to nearly $700 million worldwide. The latest blockbuster from one of cinema's greatest filmmakers is sure to hit the billion-dollar mark soon, but it faces some serious competition on its third weekend from Tom Holland's Peter Parker swinging back into action in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. But if the newest MCU entry isn't your cup of tea, then perhaps a weekend of top-tier streaming is preferable.
