Delivering a new twist on a piece of classic literature isn't rare. We often have reimaginings and new ways of interpreting the stories we grew up on. With Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, there are a lot of adaptations in the world. Even The Nightmare Before Christmas takes elements of Frankenstein, with its spin on Sally the Ragdoll and Dr. Finkelsen. More recently, creatives like Diablo Codyand Zelda Williams took on Frankenstein with their 2024 film Lisa Frankenstein, which turned a teenage girl into the mad scientist who turns the statue of a man into her own Creature (Cole Sprouse). And now you can watch the film on Peacock later this month.
