16 Years Later, Guy Ritchie’s 69% RT British Historical Thriller Is a Streaming Hit on His Home Turf

Guy Ritchie has been extremely busy this year with the releases of Fountain of Youth and MobLand, but what many would argue is his most iconic movie ever has returned to streaming charts over 15 years later. In 2009, Ritchie teamed up with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law for Sherlock Holmes, the retelling of the classic British mystery thriller following the two famous detectives as they chase down someone who is a threat to all of England. Sherlock Holmes is streaming on Netflix in America, but globally, the film has returned to the VOD top 10 in Ritchie’s home country of the United Kingdom.
