Over the course of nearly 200 episodes of House, Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) had no shortage of dialogue that was memorable, but his best line was early in the series and never managed to get dethroned. Throughout House's run, which stretched across eight seasons from 2004 through 2012, House earned a reputation as one of TV's darkest, most self-destructive doctors, although his wit often saved him from being truly dastardly. Approaching medicine with a ruthless sense of honesty, House saw the titular doctor treating social conventions as obstacles, using rough sarcasm to challenge his colleagues and his patients regularly.
