14 Years Later, Tom Hardy’s Forgotten British Spy Thriller Is Dominating on VOD

Tom Hardy has become even more famous in recent years thanks to his role as Eddie Brock in the Venom franchise, but long before he ever achieved symbiosis with the alien, he starred in a forgotten British spy thriller that’s mysteriously returned to streaming charts. Hardy stars alongside Gary Oldman (Slow Horses) and Mark Strong (Dune: Prophecy) in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, the 2011 espionage thriller set during the Cold War, following a former agent who is forced out of retirement to hunt for a hidden Soviet spy in MI6. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy has returned to the VOD top 10 in several countries overseas, now 14 years after the film was released.
