It is rare for a series to come along that is so utterly unique that it blows audiences away, but that was the case with Orphan Black. Premiering in 2013, the series starred the then-unknown Tatiana Maslany in a mystery that quickly spun out into a gripping sci-fi legend. The series started in dramatic fashion when grifter, Sarah (Maslany), witnesses the suicide of someone who looks exactly like her. Looking for a way to get custody back of her daughter, Sarah steals the mystery woman’s ID and looks for a way to make off with a score.
